Zusammenfassung: | Thermal dynamic gratings (TDG) have been intensively used since the pioneering work of Pohl in 1973 for the study of thermal conductivity and diffusivity in solids, in liquid crystals, and in micellar liquids. The same thermodynamic quantities can be obtained from the so-called induced thermal lens (ITL) technique. This paper reports on what we believe to be a method combining the advantages of ITL and TDG and avoiding their drawbacks. This method is based upon the time-resolved analysis of the transverse Fourier spectrum of an induced thermal lens. |
