Zusammenfassung:Longidorus juvenilis Dalmasso, 1969 and L. africanus Memy, 1966 are reported and descriptionbed from South Africa. The following new species are descriptionbed: L. juveniloides n. sp. is compared with L. juvenilis and L. reneyii Raina, 1966; L. ampul/atus n. sp. resembles L. moniloides Heyns, 1966 and L. leptocephalus Hooper, 1961; L. makatinus n. sp. is also compared with L. moniloides as well as with L. paramonile Jacobs & Heyns, 1982; L. mobae n. sp. has an exceptionally widened lip region and is compared with L. pisi Edward, Misra & Singh, 1964 as well as with L. latocephalus Lamberti, Chovela & Agostinelli, 1983; L. kakamus n. sp. is dose to L. elongatus (de Man, 1876) and L. attenuatus Hooper, 1961; L. auratus n. sp. is also very dose to L. elongatus; L. rotundicaudatus n. sp. is distinguished by its hemispherical tail shape; and L. conicaudatus n. sp. resembles L. africanus in most characters except tail shape.
