Zusammenfassung:Effects of counterion, solvent and solvating agents were studied for the reactions of transition metal carbonylates CpFe(CO) 2 −, (Cp = C 5H 5), Re(CO) 5 −1, Mn(CO) 5 −, CpW(CO) 3 −1, CpMo(CO) 3 − with 2-(pentacarbonylmagnanese)-4,6-difluoro-1,3,5-triazine. The observed trends substantiate the hypothesis of enhanced reactivity of contact ion pairs as compared to solvent-separated ion pairs and free ions.
