Zusammenfassung:The spatial viscous instability of the Falkner–Skan similarity profile at separation to Tollmien–Schlichting waves is computed numerically. The computed viscous eigenvalues tend, with increasing Reynolds number R, to the corresponding inviscid values. For (R=finite, αc→ 0), computations show the real α r , and imaginary α i , parts of the wavenumber approach a constant n o n z e r o value but that the real c r , and imaginary c i , parts of the wave speed approach zero. For (R→∞ and αc→ 0), however, (α i , α r , c r , and c i )→ 0.
