Zusammenfassung:As part of an investigation of UTX compounds (T represents a transition metal and X represents an element out of the group Al, Ga, Sn) we performed magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and specific-heat measurements on the pseudoternary system (U,Th)CoSn. The results are discussed in terms of a varying 5f-electron density of states at E/sub F/ which is controlled by the U concentration.
