Zusammenfassung:This article is the second in a series of three papers on an NMR investigation into the effects of hydrostatic pressure on the phase transitions and the molecular motion in solid and liquid C 2H 6. The present paper is concerned with the determination of the phase lines in the p- T diagram at pressures ranging from 0 to 10 kbar, using NMR techniques. Accurate results are presented on the transition lines between the liquid phase, the orientationally disordered (plastic) solid phase I and two orientationally disordered phases II and III. A triple point between the liquid phase and the solid phases I and II is predicted to occur at 217.4 K, 13.6 kbar.
