Zusammenfassung: | It is shown that the standard reduced order model of the induction machine, as it is incorporated into transient stability programs, cannot be used to predict accurately the terminal voltage of large horsepower induction machines during isolated operation. It is further shown that by proper application of the theory of neglecting electric transients, an accurate reduced order model may be derived. This corrected reduced order model is obtained by changing the frame of reference during computation of isolated operation. |
