On the problem of H2 formation

In the first part of the paper the framework for theoretical studies of the H2 formation on interstellar grains will be shortly considered. In the second part the chemisorption of a hydrogen atom at a carbon grain will be examined and results of an ab initio perturbational approach are presented. Im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit wird ein Überblick über das theoretische Rüstzeug einer Untersuchung der H2‐Bildung auf interstellaren Staubteilchen gegeben. Der zweite Teil ist dem Problem der Berechnung der Bindungsenergie eines auf einem Kohlenstoff‐Staubteilchen chemisorbierten Wasserstoffatoms gewidmet.
