Zusammenfassung:	Decreasing humidity levels in in vitro culture vessels containing actively proliferating shoot clusters of the plum rootstock Mr.S.2/5 (Prunus cerasifera) induced a progressive decrease in stomatal density and index. Stomatal closure, during both the light and dark period, showed no definite trend at varying RH, whereas reduction of openings was detected in all treatments when the light was turned off.
