Zusammenfassung: | The effect of an electric field on the superconducting transition temperature Tc and on the upper critical magnetic field Hc2 in the high‐Tc superconductor Y1−xPrxBa2Cu3O7‐Δ is investigated. The enhancement of superconducting properties under the influence of a negative field was found. The results are explained by the field‐induced carrier accumulation on the sample surface and by piezoelectrical local stresses in the surface layer.
