Zusammenfassung:Methylenetriphenylphosphoranes (IIa, b) react with 1,4-naphthoquinonemonobenzenesulfonimine (I) yielding the new azapropane adduct IIIa together with the dimeric adducts IIIb, IIIc, and IIId. Structures of the new products were established by analytical and spectroscopic (IR, 1 H NMR, 31 P NMR, 13 C NMR, and MS) results. A mechanism is proposed to explain the formation of compounds III.
