Zusammenfassung:Career decisions have substantial ramifications for families. Family therapists need techniques to help clients who are struggling with career decisions. Most family therapists are familiar with the use of the genogram to explore multi-generational patterns. This article provides a case study of the use of the genogram to facilitate career decision making with a 40 year old female who was considering a midlife career change.
