Zusammenfassung:Eosinophilic fasciitis was originally described by Shulman in 1974 (1). This disorder combines symmetric inflammation and sclerosis of the deep fascia, joint cantractures, polyarthritis, lung involvement, hypergammaglobulinemia, eosinophilia, thrombocytopenia and blood dysplasias (2-4, 6, 7). In the present report a patient with eosinophilic fasciitis who subsequently developed thrombocytopenia and Dupuytren's contracture is described.
