Linearized theory for pulse tube cryocooler performance
A linearized theory, which assumes small pressure perturbations, is presented for the performance of orifice-type pulse tube cryocoolers. It is shown that a two-piston Stirling-cycle cryocooler provides greater refrigeration power than the corresponding conventional pulse tube cryocooler.
