Zusammenfassung:Recombination processes in CaS : Eu2+ (0.1–1.5 wt%) thin films were studied. Photoluminescence spectra and emission decay kinetics were measured at different temperatures (4–300 K). It was found that the Eu2+ intra-ion transitions as well as energy and electron transfer between different Eu centers are responsible for luminescence properties of the CaS : Eu2+ films.
