Zusammenfassung:The exciton luminescence of PbI2 layered semiconductor has been examined utilizing microwave modulated photoluminescence (MMPL) and thermal modulated photoluminescence (TMPL) spectroscopy. In the MMPL experiment, the microwave electric field induces a nonequilibrium heating of free carriers. In the TMPL experiment, modulation creates an equilibrium thermal redistribution of carriers among the emitting states. The results revealed that MMPL and TMPL can be applied as high-resolution spectroscopic techniques.
