Zusammenfassung:First a functionalized CC bond, then a CE bond (E  O, S) are formed at the methyl propenate ligands in the title compound to afford 1. This takes place when the starting material is treated with CS2 and subsequently with pyridine‐N‐oxide or ethylenesulfide. In this reaction the CS2 molecule is inserted exclusively into the ReCα bond of the starting material, the O or S atom into the ReCβ bond of the intermediate.
