Zusammenfassung: | This paper describes a project to review current practices, technical information and safety criteria to assist in developing factors to size protective ground cable systems to protect workers during work on de-energized transmission and distribution lines. These guidelines are proposed to be included as part of ``Guide for Protective Grounding of Power Lines``, P1048, at the next revision. The primary purpose is to utilize protective grounds sized to protect the worker from injury from the maximum current magnitude and duration that may flow through the grounding system at the work site. |
