Watershed segmentation of an image enhanced by Teager energy driven diffusion
We use the Teager energy driven nonlinear diffusion process to reduce the influence of noise in the watershed segmentation of an image. We show that the performance of this non-linear diffusion process is better than the performance of the traditional gradient driven non-linear diffusion process.
