Zusammenfassung: | In this paper we have discussed the evolution of the congestion control and the bandwidth estimation mechanisms. Further we have presented the adaptive nature of the up-to-date bandwidth estimation algorithm. A comparison and explanations about the four lowpass discrete time filter types we have used follows. The results from the conducted simulations are presented in graphical shape. The simulations are conducted with different error rates, congestion window sizes and with and without a RED and DropTail routers. |
