Zusammenfassung:Complex rare-earth nickelates La3−xCaxNi2O7−δ (0≤x≤2.0) were produced using coprecipitation followed by calcination of the obtained blend. We have determined the stability range for the solid solution and the fraction δ of non-stoichiometric oxygen, using powder X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis. It is shown that the stability range for these solid solutions correlates with the oxygen content in the samples. Substitution of lanthanum by calcium changed the conductivity type from metal (x=0) to semiconductor (0.2≤x≤0.8).
