Zusammenfassung:This paper extends a database schema transformation language, called Schema Refinement Language, with a composition operator and a rule for deriving the conditions under which a composed transformation is guaranteed to produce a correct schema refinement. The framework that results from this extension can be exploited for improving the reliability of the database schema design also when other design frameworks are used.
