Zusammenfassung:Basing on the theory of generalized /spl delta/-like functions, a theory of the symmetric dipole formed of thin rectangular metallic plates has been developed. An integral equation for the surface current density was derived and its rigorous solution at h///spl lambda//spl Gt/1 (h - the dipole length, /spl lambda/ - the wavelength) was constructed. The analytical expression for the dipole directivity characteristic and input resistance was also defined.
