Zusammenfassung:	This paper documents the development of a Simple Ontology Definition Language (SOntoDL). The development is part of a project aimed at the implementation of an ontology-based semantic navigation through the glossary of an evidence-based medical information service on the WWW. The latest version of SOntoDL is integrated with the RDF/RDFS framework thereby providing for the foundation of a Semantic Web of evidence-based medical information.
