A new ferroelectric PbEr1/2Nb1/2O3

In conditions of high pressure and temperatures the compound PbEr 1/2 Nb 1/2 O 3 with a metastable perovskite structure is obtained for the first time. On the basis of structural and dielectric properties it is concluded that the compound belongs to the group of antiferroelectrics.
