Zusammenfassung:This chapter describes the unique beliefs and practices of INC Christianity and explores what makes it so compelling to its followers. We begin the chapter with in-depth descriptions of three different individual INC participants and how they became attracted to and involved with INC groups. We then analyze the primary attractions of INC Christianity to its followers, which we claim are experiences of the miraculous, opportunities for participation and leadership, and the promise of contributing to large-scale social transformation. We conclude that the network governance structure of INC groups allows for these three factors to be delivered to religious “consumers” in particularly compelling ways.
