Zusammenfassung: | Ultrasonic humidification technology has gained much attention in the past four years for its efficiency in generating humidification output at a fraction (7 percent) of the energy needed by most conventional electric steam-generating humidifiers. However, one additional benefit of ultrasonic humidifiers is frequently overlooked in comparing them with other systems for life cycle and payback evaluation and analysis. This benefit is the cooling effect. This article will look at three of the most common applications where the ultrasonic cooling effect plays a role in the energy evaluation process: year-round cooling applications, economizer applications, and heating-mode applications. |
