Zusammenfassung: | The technical aspects of considering non-theta thresholds within the framework of biased theories of galaxy formation are discussed, without restricting the treatment to background Gaussian matter distribution. First, non-Gaussian backgrounds and non-theta thresholds are simultaneously considered. Then a number of other features are accounted for through suitable forms of threshold functions. Two specific examples of non-theta thresholds relate directly to the effects of nonspherical gravitational growing and a possible merging of fluctuations on different mass scales during the growing stages. It appears that these effects become stronger for mass scales corresponding to Abell cluster mass scale range. In particular, the threshold related to nonsphericity makes the observed number densities of Turner and Gott groups and Abell cluster naturally coherent. 49 refs. |
