Practical Reporting Times for Environmental Samples

Practical reporting time (PRT) is a statistical definition of an analyte holding time that associates a risk to concentrations measured after the PRT. The PRT approach was applied to 19 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and four explosives in both water and soil matrices.
