Zusammenfassung:The inelastic scattering of [sup 12]C+[sup 12]C to states above the decay threshold into 6[alpha] particles has been studied at center-of-mass energies in the range 25--40 MeV. We observe strong resonant behavior in the 0[sub 2][sup +]+3[sub 1][sup [minus]] and 0[sub 2][sup +]+0[sub 2][sup +] channels around 32.5 MeV with strikingly enhanced cross sections at 90[degree] in the center of mass. Further measurements suggest that the 0[sub 2][sup +]+(0[sub 3][sup +]) channel also resonates in this energy region. These data are compared to recent band crossing model calculations and the shape eigenstate interpretation.
