Zusammenfassung:Potassium lanthanum nitrate dihydrate (KLN) and its cerium analog are water soluble nonlinear crystals with coefficients [approximately]3[times] larger than KDP. KLN is noncritically phase-matched at room temperature for Type 1 frequency doubling of 1.064 [mu]m light. KLN and KCN are also nearly noncritical for Type 2 frequency doubling of 0.90-0.95 [mu]m light.
