Superconductive solutions for a two-band Hamiltonian
A canonical two-band BCS Hamiltonian containing a Fermi surface of [ital d] holes and [ital p] holes for the high-[ital T][sub [ital c]] cuprate oxides is examined and is shown to possess two superconducting gaps. Zusammenfassung: | A canonical two-band BCS Hamiltonian containing a Fermi surface of [ital d] holes and [ital p] holes for the high-[ital T][sub [ital c]] cuprate oxides is examined and is shown to possess two superconducting gaps. It is also pointed out that the system admits a precursor phase of Cooper-pair droplets that undergoes a phase-locking transition at a critical temperature below the mean-field solution. Recent NMR and neutron-scattering results are discussed. |
