Zusammenfassung:Extraction of the Δ magnetic moment in radiative πN scttering and of the Δ-nucleus interaction in π-nucleus reactions is discussed. The role of the Δ in low energy spin-isospin nuclear excitations is reviewed. The possible importance of higher nucleon excitations and quark degrees of freedom in large momentum electron scattering is discussed qualitatively.
