Zusammenfassung:Potential source emission regions for aerosols measured in the Nortwhest Territories of the Canadian Arctic were sought with a hybrid receptor model. The approach combines chemical and meteorological data and explores the use of 5-d air parcel backward trajectories to depict the LRT of heavy metal and sulfate species through the potential source contribution function receptor model. Sites in Europe and the former USSR were identified as potential emission source areas.
