Ultraviolet Light Induced Damage to Desoxyribonucleic Acid in Human Skin

Exposure of human skin to ultraviolet light in vivo results in immediate changes in desoxyribonucleic acid in the nuclei of the epidermal cells. These in vivo changes are demonstrated by immunofluorescence using antibodies specific for desoxyribonucleic acid altered by exposure to ultraviolet light.
