Zusammenfassung: | The formation of graphite particles in the atmosphere of C type Mira variables is theoretically investigated by using the classical nucleation theory. The result shows that the sublimation takes place fast enough to follow the temperature variation no matter how small the accomodation coefficient may be. The size distribution of the graphite particles is calculated by the nucleation and coagulation theory. |
