Zusammenfassung: | An electromagnetic helical microwiggler with three poles in one period installing permanent magnets to suppress the leakage field has been designed and manufactured. The gap field of the wiggler is adjustable by controlling the position of an iron screw set in each retainer fixing the permanent magnet blocks. In a test wiggler with a period of 7.9 mm and magnetic pole gap length of 4.6 mm, the field has been measured 2.3 kG which was more than two times larger than that of the wiggler without permanent magnets. |
