Urbach Rule in MnGa{sub 2}Se{sub 4} Single Crystals Upon Optical Absorption
The Urbach rule in MnGa{sub 2}Se{sub 4} single crystals is studied. It is found that the long-wavelength absorption tail obeys the Urbach rule at photon energies in the range 2.1–2.2 eV. It is shown that a strong electron–phonon interaction exists in MnGa{sub 2}Se{sub 4} single crystals.
