Zusammenfassung:Magneto-LO-polaron in a cylindrical GaAs{sub 0.9} P{sub 0.1} / GaAs{sub 0.6} P{sub 0.4} quantum dot is investigated taking into consideration of geometrical confinement effect. The effects of phonon on the exciton binding energy and the interband emission energy as a function of dot radius are found. The calculations are performed within the single band effective mass approximation using the variational method based on the Lee-Low-Pine LLP transformation.
