Z=8). The crystal structure consists of a new type of three-dimensional borophosphatic anionic partial framework, which is built from the condensation of the fundamental building unit (FBU) [B
2P
3O
14(OH)]. The CoO
6 octahedra are enchased in such borophosphate network to form a complex open framework with a three-dimensional intersecting channel system, the voids of which are occupied by ammonium, dipronated piperazine ions and water molecules, respectively. The magnetic measurement of the title compound has also been investigated.
