B{yields}KK decays in the perturbative QCD approach

Zusammenfassung: | We calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for B{sup 0}{yields}K{sup 0}K*{sup 0}, K{sup 0}K*{sup 0}, K{sup +}K*{sup -}, K{sup -}K*{sup +}, and B{sup +}{yields}K{sup +}K*{sup 0}, and K{sup 0}K*{sup +} decays by employing the low energy effective Hamiltonian and the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The theoretical predictions for the branching ratios are Br(B{sup 0}/B{sup 0}{yields}K{sup {+-}}K*{sup {+-}}){approx_equal}7.4x10{sup -8}, Br(B{sup 0}/B{sup 0}{yields}K{sup 0}K*{sup 0}(K{sup 0}K*{sup 0})){approx_equal}19.6x10{sup -7}, Br(B{sup +}{yields}K{sup +}K*{sup 0}){approx_equal}3x10{sup -7} and Br(B{sup +}{yields}K*{sup +}K{sup 0}){approx_equal}18.3x10{sup -7}, which are consistent with currently available experimental upper limits. We also predict large CP-violating asymmetries in these decays: A{sub CP}{sup dir}(K{sup {+-}}K*{sup 0}){approx_equal}-20%, A{sub CP}{sup dir}(K*{sup {+-}}K{sup 0}){approx_equal}-49%, which can be tested by the forthcoming B meson experiments. |
