The influence of texture on the creep behaviour of the ods nickel-base alloy pm 1000

Zusammenfassung:A significant contribution of texture to the creep strength of ODS PM 1000 has been observed, while the influence of GAR has been shown to be negligible. Despite identical Schmid factors the < 110 > -oriented samples reveal a higher Taylor factor M compared to the < 100 > orientation which is explained by the deviation from homogeneous shape change of the specimen's cross-section during plastic deformation. With the different M values obtained the temperature-normalised Norton-plot shows a good correspondence of all creep data. Future work on < 111 > -oriented samples (hard orientation) is in progress and may support our conclusions.
