Zusammenfassung: | The synthesis and characterization of cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene, bicyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene and cyclic (amino)(barrelene)carbene copper (I) complexes is reported. These complexes are obtained via a scalable, versatile, green, and cost/user‐friendly strategy.
Cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene copper(I) complexes are typically obtained by deprotonating the carbene's conjugate acid with a strong base under inert atmosphere. Herein we show that these complexes can also be obtained in air using a weak base. |
