Zusammenfassung: | Science and technology are presented for novel nitrogen‐incorporated ultrananocrystalline diamond (N‐UNCD) encapsulated NG/copper anode and UNCD coatings that may enable next generation Li‐ion batteries (LIBs) with potential 10x longer lifetime and superior performance than current LIBs. N‐UNCD films (∼5–10 nm grain size) exhibit electrical conductivity and extreme resistance to chemical corrosion, providing superior performance with respect to current uncoated anodes. |
