First report of the family Palaeosetidae (Lepidoptera: Hepialoidea) from mainland China, with description of a new Ogygioses species and its phylogenetic position within the genus

The family Palaeosetidae is newly recorded from mainland China. A new species of the genus Ogygioses, O. maoershanasp. nov., is described from Guangxi Province, China. The adults, male and female genitalia, venation, head and legs structures are illustrated. Some ecological information and a key to all species of the genus are also provided.
