Zusammenfassung:This study was carried out to investigate disease control efficacy of Bordeaux mixture against powdery mildew on omija (Schizandra chinensis Baillon) medicinal plants and the deposit of Cu and Zn in soils and fruits. When the Bordeaux mixture was foliar applied by different modes, it showed potent control efficacy against powdery mildew disease on omija medicinal plants, with control values between 87 and 96%. There was no significant difference in the Cu and Zn contents in soils treated by the application of Bordeaux mixture and those left untreated (p greater than 0.05). In addition, it was estimated that no Cu and Zn deposits occurred in omija fruit treated with Bordeaux mixture (p greater than 0.05). These results indicate that Bordeaux mixture is highly effective at controlling powdery mildew disease on omija medicinal plants.
