| Zusammenfassung: | A 73-year-old man visited our hospital because ofpain with swelling and redness on the right footdorsum. He was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis andnodular hepatic cellular carcinoma. Lower extremityCT scan and MRI showed abscess formation in theright foot dorsum. Gram-negative cocci were recoveredfrom the culture of drained pus at the site andidentified as Neisseria skkuensis by 16S rRNA genesequencing. Here, we report the first case of cellulitisdue to N. skkuensis and provide a literature review.
