Zusammenfassung: | The Fourth Industrial Revolution, represented by robots, big data, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, Internet of things, driverless cars, drones, etc., are changing almost everything about business, consumption, and future career. What will happen in Asia in the context of the fourth industrial revolution and what would be the implications for our business, career and research? This article presents three important guidelines about today’s frontiers, fluency in a technical or programming languages, and most importantly one’s own core values and competence. This article also presents some important research topics, particularly on Asian businesses and consumers. The author recommends three groups of research issues that address major or “hot” problems facing companies, organizations, and societies that would like to succeed and thrive in Asia. AABR aims to become a pioneer to encourage scholars and business leaders to work together to thrive together in the age of the unprecedented revolution.
