고주파 전기수술을 이용한 눈꺼풀 표피낭종의 제거

목적: 고주파 전기수술기를 이용하여 눈꺼풀의 표피낭종을 효과적으로 제거하는 방법을 보고하고자 한다. 대상과 방법: 눈꺼풀의 표피낭종 환자 13명 13안을 대상으로 고주파 전기수술기(Ellman surgitron(R))를 이용하여 눈꺼풀 표피낭종을 수술적으로 제거하였다. 수술 후 6개월 이상 추적관찰하여 그 결과를 후향적으로 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 수술 후 6개월째 모든 안에서 눈꺼풀의 표피낭종은 재발 없이 제거되었으며, 특별한 합병증은 발생하지 않았다. 결론: 고주파 전기수술기를 이용한 눈꺼풀 표피낭종 제거술은 재발 없이 효과적으로 표피낭종을 제거할 수 있는 방법이라 생각한다. Purpose: To introduce an effective new surgical approach with high-frequency radio-wave electrosurgery to remove eyelid epidermal cysts. Methods: Thirteen patients (13 eyes) with eyelid epidermal cysts were enrolled in the present study. All patients underwent high-frequency radio-wave electrosurgery (Ellman surgitron(R)) to remove the epidermal cyst. The results were analyzed retrospectively, after a follow-up of more than 6 months. Results: At 6 months postoperatively, all eyes showed no recurrence of epidermal cyst. Additionally, no complications were reported by any patient.
