Zusammenfassung:As Truncatipennes ground beetles of the subfamily Lebiinae, genus Amphimenes Bates, 1873 is first recorded from Cambodia by Amphimenes (Amphinemes) rugulipennis (Bates, 1892) and a new species Amphimenes (Amphinemes) wooshini sp. nov. is described here. Descriptions, key, photographs of adults, and some collecting information are provided. •Amphimenes (Amphinemes) rugulipennis (Bates, 1892) was recorded first in Cambodia.•Amphimenes (Amphinemes) wooshini sp. nov. was described as a new species to science.•Taxonomic key, adult habitus, genitalia, distributional information, and reviewed remarks are provided.
